Shankar (Amitabh Bachchan) grows up a Nastik (atheist) because his family gets brutally erased in a murderous attempt by (Tiger) Amjad Khan. Shankar decides to do justice to them he follows Tiger and attacks him and believes that Tiger is dead. Years later when Shankar has become a thief he gets reunited with his mother and sister whom he had assumed were dead. He decides to mend his ways but then one day he finds out that his father`s killer is still alive.
